Comparison

Blogdat vs Writesonic

Writesonic tries to win the draft and the AI-mention report. Blogdat tries to keep the site publishing.

Writesonic's article writer is a pipeline: audience, a scrape of ranking pages, an outline, a sectioned draft with citations, a review pass, and a humanizer. It can write from your documents or from web research, and the company now sells AI search visibility across chat products, with actions for what to publish or refresh next. Site audit and a keyword planner connection sit beside that.

Blogdat's loop is narrower and more physical. The article belongs to a site, goes out on a schedule, can be translated, and can be submitted to Google. AI mentions are measured for that site. Writesonic is closer to Blogdat than Jasper is. The split is still who owns the URL after the draft is done.

Where Writesonic goes deep

The public article pipeline is explicit about SERP structure, citations, and a review step before you see the draft. That is real research theater with a paper trail, which is better than a single prompt. AI visibility tracking is a product, not a footnote: share of voice and citations across chat systems, then a suggestion of what to write.

Treat the humanizer and the citation list as a start. A citation is not a fact you are willing to publish until someone opens it. Blogdat has the same rule. Neither tool gets to invent a number because the pipeline sounded thorough.

What Blogdat is for

Blogdat runs the blog for a site. It researches that business, drafts the article, makes the image, publishes on a schedule, and can ask Google to index the URL when Search Console is connected. It can translate, connect WordPress, and carry more than one brand.

It also tracks keywords, AI mentions, and link metrics for the sites you connect. Link metrics and domain rating are shown from Ahrefs when that connection is on. Blogdat does not crawl its own copy of the web's keywords or backlinks, and it does not buy ads or run a sales sequence.

Do not buy both to write the same post

Two article agents on one query produce two opinions and a merge. Pick one drafter. If Writesonic's visibility report says a question is missing, that question can become the next Blogdat brief. The report is the input. It is not a second publisher.

Writesonic is the better look when the buying question is "where do chat products mention us, and what should we write next?" Blogdat is the better look when the buying question is "who publishes Tuesday's article and asks Google to fetch it?"

How this page was checked

  • Public product pages for Writesonic and for Blogdat, read in October 2026. Plan names and prices change. Confirm them on the vendor site before you buy.
  • No score in this comparison is a lab result. Where a product claims a database size or a model name, that claim is theirs.
  • Blogdat does not replace a keyword index, a backlink index, an ad suite, or a sales workflow. If that is the job, this is the wrong alternative.
