Google Tag Manager

1.Site analytics

  1. Open the site in Studio and copy the Embed snippet.
  2. In Google Tag Manager, open the container for this site.
  3. Create a new Custom HTML tag.
  4. Paste the full Blogdat <script …></script> snippet into the tag.
  5. Set the trigger to All Pages (or the pages you want measured).
  6. Submit and publish the container.
  7. Load a published page and confirm a visit in Site Analytics.

Keep one Blogdat tag. Duplicate tags create duplicate hits.

2.Blog

Google Tag Manager only installs the tracker. The blog is a separate host.

  1. Open the site in Studio and go to Settings → Domain.
  2. Connect blog.yourdomain.com and add the CNAME at your domain DNS host.
  3. Verify the domain in Studio.
  4. On the website, add a Blog link to https://blog.yourdomain.com. Do not put the blog inside a Tag Manager tag.
