SquareSpace

1.Site analytics

  1. Open the site in Studio and copy the Embed snippet.
  2. In Squarespace, open Settings โ†’ Advanced โ†’ Code Injection.
  3. Paste the snippet into Footer.
  4. Save.
  5. Load a live page and confirm a visit in Site Analytics.

Code Injection availability depends on your Squarespace plan.

2.Blog

Code Injection is for the tracker. The blog uses its own host.

  1. Open the site in Studio and go to Settings โ†’ Domain.
  2. Connect blog.yourdomain.com. Studio shows the CNAME to add.
  3. In Squarespace, open Settings โ†’ Domains โ†’ DNS Settings and add that CNAME. If DNS is at your registrar, add it there.
  4. Verify the domain in Studio.
  5. Add a Blog link in the Squarespace navigation to https://blog.yourdomain.com.
