AI blog writer
The writer finishes a draft from a brief. It does not decide what the business is willing to say.
An AI blog writer is useful on the day the blank page is the bottleneck. Someone already knows the reader, the offer, and the claim that is safe to publish. The writer turns that into a full article, with a title, a structure, and a hero image, fast enough that a small team can keep a site moving.
It is a bad hire when the brief is "write something about our industry." The model will pick a personality, a statistic, and a promise. You will then spend the saved time deleting them. The craft is in the instruction you refuse to leave empty.
Two ways to ask for a draft
A prompt that wastes the draft
Write a 1,500 word SEO blog about our product. Make it engaging, mention the keyword five times, and end with a call to action.
A brief the writer can obey
Reader: an office manager booking a first dental visit. Job of the page: explain what to bring and how to book. Do not diagnose, quote a fee, or name a treatment we do not offer. Link to the new-patient page.
What the writer is allowed to decide
Sentence shape, order of sections, and which example makes the point clearer. Those are writing decisions. A good draft will also notice when two paragraphs say the same thing and cut one.
The writer is not allowed to invent a customer, a price, a certification, or a feature that is not in the site record. If the brief is silent, the draft should stay silent. Filling gaps is how a writing tool becomes a fiction tool.
Put these four things in the site before you generate
- Reader
- One person, with the job they are trying to finish. "Small business owners" is not a reader. "The person who sends the monthly books to the accountant" is.
- Offer
- The services or product that exist today, in the words the site already uses. Roadmap items stay out.
- Proof
- The facts a human can point at: a process, a spec, a public rule, a photo you took. If there is no proof, the article teaches the process and skips the number.
- Refusal
- The sentences this site will not publish. Medical claims, income claims, competitor gossip, and anything the front desk would have to walk back.
After the draft, a person still publishes
Generate, then read. The first ten articles on a site should be accepted by someone who would say the same thing on a call. After that, a recurring draft can land as a review item, or go live if you have already agreed the outline.
Publishing is a separate switch from writing. A draft that is wrong is cheap. A draft that is wrong and indexed is a page you have to correct in public.
