WordPress blog automation

The plugin delivers the article into WordPress. Your theme, your editor, and your permalinks stay in charge of how the site behaves.

Most companies that want a blog already have WordPress. They do not want a second website. They want a draft to show up in the place their editor, their SEO plugin, and their menu already understand.

WordPress blog automation is that handoff. You connect the site, you decide whether posts arrive as drafts or go live, and the article lands with its title, body, and image. What it does not do is redesign the theme or quietly change permalinks you have spent years ranking.

Connect it so the first post is a draft

  1. 1

Install the plugin and connect it to the site record, so the writer knows this WordPress site is the destination.

  2. 2

Leave publishing set to draft until you have seen one full post in the editor you actually use.

  3. 3

Check the permalink, the category, and the featured image in WordPress. Those are the details readers and crawlers meet.

  4. 4

Read the post in the theme, not only in the generator. A heading that looks fine in one place can collide with your CSS in the other.

  5. 5

When the path is boring and correct, allow the posts you have already approved to publish on the schedule.

The plugin is not your SEO plugin, and it should not pretend

WordPress sites often already have a tool that manages titles, sitemaps, and redirects. Automation should fill the post. It should not create a second sitemap or a second canonical and hope they agree.

If a URL changes after publish, the redirect belongs in WordPress, where the old address lived. Generating a new slug because a headline was tweaked is how you orphan a URL that had just started to be crawled.

Decide these before the second post

Who edits in WordPress
If a marketer will change the draft in the block editor, say so. Two people editing in two systems will overwrite each other.
Which post type
Posts, not pages, unless you have a reason. Pages are for the offer. Posts are for the journal and the guides.
What "live" means
Live means a public URL on the domain the customer knows. A post stuck in draft is not a published article, even if the calendar says it shipped.
